We are a group of volunteers dedicated to making a positive impact in our local community. By joining us, you'll have the opportunity to meet new people and make a difference in the lives of those around you.
Fundraising is a critical part of our organization's efforts. We need volunteers to help plan and execute fundraising events, as well as to reach out to potential donors and sponsors.
We need volunteers to help us spread the word about our organization and our mission. This includes creating and distributing flyers, reaching out to local media outlets, and connecting with other community organizations.
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to join our leadership team. Whether you have experience in non-profit management or are looking to develop your skills, we have opportunities for you.
If you have a specialized skill or expertise, we would love to hear from you. From graphic design to web development to legal services, we rely on volunteers with a wide range of talents to help us achieve our goals.
Don't have time to volunteer? You can still support our organization by making a donation. Your contribution will help us continue our work and make a difference in our community.
At MB Wadsworth Foundation, we believe that everyone can make a difference. Our mission is to empower volunteers to positively impact their communities and the world. We offer volunteer opportunities, with local community services & projects to continually reduce recidivism and restore hope that a prosperous life is ahead. Join us today and be a part of the change you wish to see in the world. It is extremely important to have the support of the community. As a direct example of prison reform, the support is imperative. It takes a village.
Hello my name is Michael, the founder of MB WADSWORTH foundation. I was inspired to create this to give the formally incarcerated a better chance at living a productive life and also being a productive member of society.
I was also incarcerated. I was sentenced to (2) 50 year terms at 18 years old and served 17.5 years at which point I was granted a pardon by the state of Nevada to be released. Once released, I was faced with multiple challenges, such as, no prior job experience, associating with people other than criminals, dealing with the various mental health issues of being “institutionalized” and much more.
This Organization is built solely around giving people that are released a better chance to remain released and to create more examples for those that follow the path.
Through my own journey, which continues, I understand what is needed and what it takes to help create more success for the formally incarcerated. But your help is definitely needed and will truly help and be much appreciated.
Please join this fight on recidivism to make are community thrive.
Have a great day
MB WADSWORTH FOUNDATION
